STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Nine years after the disappearance of a boy from Staten Island, police have re-released an age-progression photo in hopes of tracking him down.

The Daily News says police will hand out flyers Tuesday with an updated photo showing what Patrick Alford may have looked like in 2015 near the site where he disappeared.

Alford vanished from his foster home at the Spring Creek Towers in Brooklyn in January 2010 when he was seven years old.

He was helping his foster mother with the garbage when she was distracted by a phone call.

By the time she turned back around, he had disappeared.
