The MTA celebrated its newly designed subway cars by debuting them on the A line Friday afternoon in Manhattan.

These are the first new trains being added to the line in five years.

The cars that debuted at the 207 Street station are the new R211 train cars, which the MTA previewed last year.

The features for the train cars include new LED display screens, open doorways between cars and USB chargers. They are also the first fully accessible subway cars in the MTA.

New trains are expected to roll out across the A and C lines throughout the year.
