Police are looking for a person who they say fired an airsoft BB gun at a Brooklyn synagogue and at an 18-year-old Jewish man from inside a black SUV Monday afternoon.

According to police, at around 2:45 p.m. Monday, someone inside the vehicle fired a pellet through the front window of the Yavoshna Toras Moshe Orthodox Jewish synagogue in Williamsburg, shattering it.

Police say the vehicle then continued south down Spencer Street, when an individual inside it fired another pellet into the neck of an 18-year-old Jewish man described as wearing “traditional Jewish attire” by the NYPD.

The victim suffered a minor injury and refused medical attention, police said.

Members of the synagogue declined to comment Tuesday morning.

No arrests were made as of Tuesday afternoon.

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.

Police encourage anyone with information on the attack to call their Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
