A man was stabbed to death at the Times Square Dave & Busters late on Saturday, the NYPD said.

Around 10:40 p.m., a fight broke out on the arcade’s third floor after a 39-year-old man placed an item on a shelf only for it to fall on a child, according to police sources. The child was uninjured, but a fight started and the father stabbed the other man in the chest, killing him, police sources said.

The suspect fled, but police later tracked him down and arrested him using a detailed description provided by Dave & Busters employees, the NYPD said. He has not yet been charged.

“We are fully cooperating with police in their investigation,” Dave & Busters said in a statement. “Our thoughts and sympathies are with those affected by this terrible incident.”
