A train struck and killed a man after he fell onto the tracks during a fight at a Queens subway station on Monday, the NYPD said.

Heriberto Quintana, 48, and Carlos Garcia, 50, both of Queens, bumped into each other at the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights subway station shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday, sending Garcia’s cellphone onto the tracks, authorities said.

After the phone fell, the two men got into a physical fight on the northbound F train platform, a preliminary police investigation found. At some point during the fight, Quintana fell onto the tracks, where an F train arriving at the station hit him, according to police.

Quintana was removed from the tracks with severe body trauma, police said. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD said.

Garcia, who was taken into custody after the incident, was arrested on a manslaughter charge on Tuesday, police said.

His attorney information wasn’t immediately available.
