NEW YORK - The NYPD says there were 29 shootings over the weekend from Friday through Sunday. 

Two people in Brooklyn were killed.

Just after 1 a.m. Sunday in Canarsie, police say a 25-year-old man was shot in the head and died. 

He was found on East 102nd Street near Glenwood Road.

And in Bushwick, police say 24-year-old Elijah Mims was found shot multiple times inside a car around 4 a.m. Sunday.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was died. 

No arrests have been made in either shootings.
