NEW YORK - It was another weekend filled with gun violence, particularly in some Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods.

The number of shootings was about 10 times what it was on the same weekend last year.

Police say 51 people were hurt in 39 shootings, and six were killed.

One of the shooting scenes took place near Parkside and Ocean avenues in Flatbush.

A 47-year-old man was shot twice in the head there around 2 a.m. Sunday.

President Donald Trump is again threatening on Twitter to intervene.

He tweeted about the gun violence Sunday night, saying, "Law and Order. If the mayor can't do it, we will!"
