A Staten Island Monkey got a virtual birthday bash for his special day.

The Staten Island Zoo hosted an Instagram Live birthday party for Grandpa, the Spider Monkey today. The 48 year old dug into his cake as zoo staff sang Happy Birthday to him.

It wasn't the original birthday plan for one of the boroughs favorite animals, but his fans still got to celebrate by attending virtually.

The zoo closed on Monday because of the coronavirus outbreak.
