NEW YORK - Police are looking for the man they say pushed someone onto subway tracks in Manhattan during the Wednesday morning rush.

Investigators say the victim was shoved at the Union Square station just after 9 a.m.

It happened on the on the N/Q/R/W tracks.

Police say the victim did not make contact with a train, but did suffer an injury.

At this point, it's not clear if there was any prior interaction between the victim and the man who pushed him.

An investigation is underway.
