Mayor Bill de Blasio took aim at former Vice President Joe Biden during a Fox News interview on Thursday.

De Blasio, who is hitting the campaign trial again this weekend, slammed Biden for his support of the Hyde Act—which has blocked the use of federal funds for abortion services since 1976.

De Blasio will make several campaign stops in Iowa this weekend, where he will meet with voters and attend perhaps the most significant event since the mayor announced his run: The Iowa Democratic Hall of Fame, where 18 other candidates are expected to make an appearance.

On Saturday, he’s kicking off the day at a local Coffee Shop near Cedar Rapids, where he’ll meet with the Linn County Democrats, then we’ll head West to the city of Ames, where he’ll make a stop at a local brewery and meet with Story County Democrats.

The mayor is also attending church services on Sunday and will be speaking at that Iowa Democratic Hall of Fame on Sunday afternoon.

This is the first time the mayor will be attending an event alongside other candidates—including fellow New Yorker, Kristen Gilibrand. According to a Politico analysis, both de Blasio and Gilibrand have reached the threshold set by the Democratic National Committee to qualify for the June 26 and 27 debates.

In order to qualify for the debates, candidates must earn a 1% rating in 3 polls approved by the DNC or receive donations from at least 65,000 people. De Blasio has been polling near the bottom of the list of Democratic candidates.
