NEW YORK — In the state, 48.4% of adults are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Sunday.
More than 16 million doses have been administered thus far.
The positivity rate in the state is at its lowest since Oct. 28.

Total COVID hospitalizations are at 2,024.
Of the 171,287 tests reported yesterday, 2,269 were positive (1.32% of total).

Nationally, more than 43% of adults have completed their vaccine series.
Nearly all states, including New York, have seen a decline in first-time shots. Several are now declining shipments from the federal government, with some now requesting just a fraction of the supply allocated to them.
