Police have arrested the man suspected of shoving another man onto the tracks at a subway station in Brooklyn last week.

Lamale McRae, 41, is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment and harassment.

Police say surveillance video shows McRae shoving David Martin onto the tracks Friday at the Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenue subway station in Bushwick.

Martin reportedly suffered a broken collarbone, but was not hit by a train.

According to the NYPD, McRae has 10 prior arrests for crimes including strangulation, assault, and robbery.

The arrest comes as a series of violent crimes on the city’s transit system has transit advocates and straphangers raising concerns about subway safety on the city’s subways.

Major crime in the transit system is up 42% year-to-date, according to police data. Police say overall arrests are up as well, by 46%.

Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams announced a new joint initiative Saturday — aimed at increasing public safety on the transit system.
