Summer entertainment is just around the corner at a Queens cultural institution.

Flushing Town Hall announced its summer entertainment lineup on Tuesday. Starting in July, the hall will host musical acts, family programs, and other performances each week.

Attendees will get a rare look at a live shadow puppetry performance, which organizers say is an ancient form of storytelling.

“They'll see some of the best young shadow puppet performers who are currently starting to investigate and experiment in this great old craft,” said performer Stephen Kaplan.

Visitors can also look forward to a live performance of children stories with a jazzy twist.

“[Adults] always come, they always enjoy,” said performer April Armstrong. “They said ‘Oh I thought it was just going to be for kids, but I really had a good time, too.’”

Performances will take place through September.
