In a Galaxy, right nearby, "Star Wars" fans hit theaters in Queens to watch "The Force Awakens".

"I've seen it twice in 14 hours and it's still good, and I'll probably see it again," said one fan that saw the film at the AMC Loews Theater in Fresh Meadows on Friday.

The theater started showing the 7th installment of the "Star Wars" franchise around 6 a.m. and fans had nothing bad to say about it.

"I've been waiting for this for a year, and I was really, really happy to see it," said a movie-goer.

"This was one of the best movies I've ever seen," exclaimed another.

"Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Well, it was no doubt about that, I loved it," added a third fan.

Several Star Wars enthusiasts also brought their kids to see the movie.

"I was named after Luke Skywalker," said one boy.

"I named my daughter after Leia, Princess Leia, because I wanted her to be named after a really strong female," explained a young mother.

"The Force Awakens" is expected to shatter box office records this weekend.

With more than 100 million dollars in tickets already pre-sold in North America before the film hit theaters.
