BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Police have released surveillance video of the man they say raped a teenage girl in Brooklyn earlier this month.

The man allegedly walked up to the 13-year-old girl on November 1 near East 102nd Street and Avenue M in Canarsie.

Police say she was walking to a friend's house when he continued to walk with her, and police say that's when he sexually assaulted her.

Sources tell NY1 the girl left her house without permission and her mom reported her missing just hours before she was raped.

The young teen was treated at a local hospital.
