Police are investigating after they say four people were shot overnight in Brooklyn.

It happened shortly before 2 a.m. Monday near Sterling Place and Buffalo Avenue in Crown Heights.

Two men and two women were shot. The extent of their injuries were not confirmed as of this writing, but police said two of the victims were in serious condition and the others were in stable condition. They were all expected to survive, the NYPD said.

No arrests or motive have been confirmed as of this writing, but police officials said it appeared to be a targeted attack.
