Some thespians see all the world's a stage and are bringing the theatre to Brooklyn's front steps.

Brave New World Repertory Theatre hosted its "Shakespeare on Stratford" event in Ditmas Park on Sunday.

Actors from the company performed Shakespeare's sonnets from the porches of 18 homes along Stratford Road.

Afterwards, the actors led the audience in a sing-a-long and dance performance in the middle of the street.

"All the worlds a stage and Shakespeare was very global in his thinking; his plays came from all over the world and took place all over the world," said Claire Beckman of Brave New World Repertory Theatre

This is the first year that the group has held this event and hopes to do it annually.
