NEW YORK - Police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted two women on a bridge connecting Manhattan and the Bronx.

Investigators say in February he went up to a 26-year-old woman was walking toward Manhattan on the Washington Bridge.

He allegedly took out a knife, demanded money and groped her.

Police say he then fled on West 181th Street in Washington Heights.

Six months later, a similar incident happened.

Police say a 20-year-old woman was walking on the bridge on August 25 when the same man approached her.

He allegedly took out a weapon, demanded money and raped her before taking off on University Avenue.

The man is described as 5'1" tall with a pony tail.
