A father and daughter were killed and two others were left in critical condition after a fire at a Bronx apartment building early Thanksgiving morning, authorities said.

Perfecto Aramboles, 60, and Odalys Aramboles, 20, died after being transported to nearby hospitals, the NYPD said.

Two other women were hospitalized in critical condition.

Michelle Guzman, a cousin of Odalys Aramboles, said the other two family members are Perfecto Aramboles' wife Lorenza and other daughter Rosanna.

Neighbors in the building say they saw the older daughter trying to get into the apartment to help her family as the fire was happening.

“I heard somebody screaming downstairs. I ran down she’s saying my mother, my sister, my father in there. I started kicking the door, door opened up, black smoke came out,” says Manuel Jimenez.

Neighbors across the street say they saw firefighters bring the victims out of the building.

“I saw them doing CPR on the father. Yeah, it's really bad. But other than that, like, there wasn't much to see because, like, it happened so fast. But the firefighters they were on it,” neighbor Melissa Pagan said. “It doesn't make the Thanksgiving like happy anymore. You're supposed to be thankful. And this just makes everything sad. Like, I don't even want to celebrate because they passed”

The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen of the 2nd floor apartment. Thursday night, families who live on the same floor were already back in their homes. Fire officials have not said what caused the fire.

The FDNY said the call about the fire came in just before 5:30 a.m. Thanksgiving morning, and responding personnel found flames on the second floor of the five-story building on Harrison Avenue in the Morris Heights section.

The fire was under control less than an hour later, and the cause is under investigation.

“With pain in my heart, I confirm that my cousin Odalys and uncle Jose did not survive this horrific fire,” wrote Guzman, the cousin, in a GoFundMe she started for her family Thursday. Her uncle went by Jose, she said. “Odalys was autistic and truly a walking angel. My uncle Jose was a good man who stood by his family through it all. Words cannot describe how much they were loved and how much they will be missed.”
