The suspect accused of shooting and killing a subway rider aboard a Q train Sunday was arraigned on second-degree murder and weapons charges, the Manhattan district attorney’s office said Wednesday.

Andrew Abdullah, 25, is alleged to have shot and killed Goldman Sachs employee Daniel Enriquez as the subway traveled between the DeKalb Avenue and Canal Street stations Sunday morning, according to prosecutors.

Abdullah is being held without bail at prosecutors’ request. His next court date is scheduled for Friday. He is represented by Kristin Bruan, a Legal Aid Society defense attorney.

Witnesses said the suspect was walking back and forth in the same train car as Enriquez before he shot him at close range without provocation, according to police.

Enriquez was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Abdullah surrendered to police Tuesday.
