BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Police are investigating after five people were shot overnight in Brooklyn, including a six year old boy.

Police say the calls came in around 3 a.m. Sunday about the scene near Crown Street and Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights. 

That's where they found three men, a woman and the little boy with gunshot wounds.

The victims were all taken to Kings County Hospital.

All are expected to survive. 

The shooting happened just blocks from where J'Ouvert celebrations take place for Monday's West Indian Day celebration. 

Police don’t know yet what led to the shooting.

Two arrests have been made, and two guns recovered from the scene.
