"I feel good. For me, it's like the best moment,” said Ozuna. “Going up in my career, now I work hard. I've got a good vibe on this album.”

Ozuna’s latest project is a return to his music roots.

"ENOC is El Negrito Ojos Claros. I remember the first time I went out in my first song, everybody told me, ‘El negrito ojos claro.’”

ENOC, which is a Spanish acronym for his nickname, Black man with light eyes, is Ozuna's fourth studio album. 

He say’s he’s excited about all of the collaborations with U.S. and Latin artists on it.

"I called Wisin, I called Myke Towers, Arcángel and Sia and Doja Cat and they said ‘yes.’ That, for me, is the best moment in this album because Sia is, for me, the next step in my career in the world.”

Ozuna says he has been working night and day in the studio. He is also spending time with his family, which he sometimes highlights in his social media videos. His dog Nala, made an appearance during in our interview.

Ozuna was born in Puerto Rico and has strong ties to New York. He lived in Washington Heights, in Northern Manhattan. 

"Yeah, I'm a New Yorker. The swagger, everything, the flow, my English is from New York,” Ozuna said.

This New Yorker at heart says he is hoping the city and country will pull through during these tough times.

“For me, the world only needs love. Good vibes for all people. Black and white, Latin and U.S. Everybody needs love in the world for this moment because it's a bad moment for everybody.,” Ozuna said.
