NEW YORK - Strong winds are causing power outages around the five boroughs.

Most of the outages are on Staten Island.

A high wind warning is in effect until 6 p.m.

The wind could gust as high as 65 mph as showers and thunderstorms move across the city today.

The heaviest rain and strongest storms are not expected until the afternoon.

The weather has forced the closure of all state-run coronavirus drive-through testing facilities today.

All of the appointments are being rescheduled.
