It's the end of the line for "Avenue Q."

After 16 years, the curtain is coming down on the Tony-winning musical comedy.

So what will happen next? Will Rod be the next King George in "Hamilton"?

Does Kate Monster have a career as a NY1 meteorologist?

Some of the cast members joined us on "Your News Live at Noon" to discuss their future plans.

"Avenue Q," a spoof of "Sesame Street," won multiple Tony Awards, including Best Musical in 2004.

The show has been running off-Broadway since it left the Great White Way in 2009.

Composer, Jeff Marx, has been with the show since day one, and says the closing is bittersweet.

"When we were putting it together, we were putting it together for ourselves and our friends and kind of a small, off-Broadway audience," Marx told "Your News Live at Noon" Anchor Roma Torre. "We never expected it that some of the things we wrote in there would be played in cars going to car pools for soccer games and stuff."

And this isn't the first time "Avenue Q" has appeared on NY1. When same-sex marriage was legalized in New York in 2011, Rod and Ricky headed down to City Hall and got married.
