NEW YORK - Governor Andrew Cuomo on Thursday unveiled the final designs for the new main entrance to Penn Station where construction is set to begin next month.

It will be located at 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue, providing direct access to the LIRR Main Concourse and the subway.

The all glass structure is supported by a high tech steel cable net.

The entrance will include three escalators, a stairway and elevator.

The project also widens the Long Island Rail Road concourse and raises the ceiling height.

It's scheduled to open in December 2020 with an estimated price tag of $600 million.
