QUEENS, N.Y. - Police are hoping a picture will help nab an attempted rapist in Queens.

Investigators have identified the man as 21-year-old Nickoloas Samaroo.

They say on November 9, Samaroo allegedly attacked a woman inside an apartment on 101st Avenue in Richmond Hill.

Police say he repeatedly punched and kicked her, knocking her unconscious.

The woman says she woke up to Samaroo trying to remove her clothes.

When she tried to run, she claims he knocked her out a second time.

After escaping, the victim was treated at the hospital for cuts to her face and leg.
