A Brooklyn man was indicted Friday on a murder charge in the death of a 3-year-old boy in November.
Prosecutors say Salvatore Lucchesse, 24, beat Jaden Jordan to death Nov. 28. He is the boyfriend of the Jaden's mother.
The Medical Examiner said the toddler died from abusive head and neck trauma.
Police said Jordan was found unconscious and covered in feces at his home in Gravesend. He died in the hospital Dec. 3.
Lucchesse was charged with assault in December.
He now faces charges of manslaughter and child endangerment, and could face up to life behind bars.
Lucchesse is due back in court March 6.
