Halloween's about a week away, but some New Yorkers got into the "Howl"-oween spirit Saturday.

Zombies, princesses, and of course werewolves attended the Annual Tompkins Square Park Halloween Dog Parade — this year's 'Best in Show' were pooches dressed as candy.

Pet owners and their canines were bundled up to keep warm in the rain and wind, but the weather didn't dampen the festivities.

A woman we spoke with says her dog is celebrating his first Halloween.

"This is Sprout, and he's dressed as Eeyore," she said. "It was the perfect costume for a little perpetually pouty pup."

"Sheriff Rick Grimes from the Walking Dead," said another dog owner. "In case of a Zombie Apocalypse, no worries, because Sheriff Rick Grimes will save everyone.

"My dog's costume, we decided to do her as a bumble bee, because she's like a little feisty," said a third.

This was the Halloween Dog Parade's 26th year.
