Nonprofits, charities and various organizations are stepping up to assist the government in fully addressing the needs of asylum seekers entering New York City.

With more than 50,000 migrants under its care, the city faces numerous challenges in providing for their well-being.

Robin Hood, a poverty-fighting organization, is playing a crucial role in assisting the city by offering services, such as food, housing, education and legal assistance.

However, like other groups, Robin Hood is now in the predicament of allocating limited resources between its existing clients and the newly arrived migrants.

Emary Aronson, Robin Hood's chief knowledge officer, joined “Mornings On 1” Thursday to shed light on the ongoing efforts to aid the migrant population.
