Since former President Donald Trump has left office, he and his private company have also been embroiled in multiple legal battles across the country, with a jury in Manhattan recently finding the Trump Organization guilty of tax fraud.

And through it all, New York Times senior political correspondent Maggie Haberman has covered everything from his rise to the presidency to his most recent bid for reelection. She chronicled the life and legacy of the former president in her new book, "Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America," which was published by Penguin Press and released on Oct. 4.

Haberman joined Errol Louis on "Inside City Hall" Tuesday to discuss her reporting, the president's actions on Jan. 6, 2021, and the ongoing investigations into his political and business activites.
