Republicans won control of the U.S. House on Wednesday by flipping four House seats.

Democrats’ losses in New York helped shift the balance of power in the House to Republicans.

Howard Wolfson, a senior adviser to former Mayor Mike Bloomberg and a former deputy mayor in Bloomberg’s administration, joined Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to talk about Republicans gaining control in the House.

“I think collectively the leadership in Albany should take a bit of a hard look in the mirror at the decisions that were made and not made over the last year and 18 months that led us to the place where Democrats will lose control of the House because of failures here in New York,” he said.
