BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Investigators are searching for the gunman in a deadly shooting Monday in Brooklyn.

Two bystanders were hit instead of the intended target - one of them died.

It happened on West 33rd Street near Neptune Avenue in Coney Island.

Police say the gunman had been fighting with another man and fired several shots before running away.

He missed the man, and hit two construction workers instead.

Dorothy Dixon, 53, was shot in the torso and died. 

A 47-year-old man was also hit in the leg.

He is listed in serious condition.
