STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Two firefighters and an EMS worker suffered minor injuries Wednesday at the scene of a massive fire at a Staten Island warehouse.

The FDNY says crews responded just after 2:30 p.m. to a commercial building located at 60 Davidson Street in Mariners Harbor.

People reported seeing smoke from the fire from as far away as the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Fire officials says there were people working inside, but they all escaped uninjured.

"There was an oil storage facility, there was a recycling facility, we're not sure where the fire started. Fire marshals will do an investigation when it's safe to do so. There was also a large amount of collapse of building, so the building is in danger of further collapsing," said Tom Richardson of the FDNY.

About 200 firefighters and EMS personnel responded.
