New Yorkers are on the move Friday during one of the busiest travel days of the season.

According to AAA, more than 107 million Americans will hit the road between Saturday and New Year's Day, a record-high.

Major transit hubs across the city are gearing up for major crowds.

To help alleviate traffic, Q70 Select Bus Service to LaGuardia Airport will be free Friday and Saturday. The Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North, and Staten Island Railway will also run extra trains.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, city buses, subways, and the Staten Island Railway will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Nearly 20 million travelers are expected to use Port Authority airports, bridges, tunnels, and PATH trains.

If you are one of them, AAA recommends leaving early in the morning, or after the morning commute, to avoid major traffic.
