State police have released the name of the woman killed in a Thursday morning crash in Lewis County.
Troopers say 37-year-old Meghan Mathys of Lowville crossed over the center lane on State Route 12 in town of Martinsburg around 5:30 a.m.
They say she side-swiped another car, causing her to spin into the oncoming lane where she was hit by a utility truck.
Mathys was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the utility truck was hospitalized for a minor injury.
No one else was hurt.
The crash is still being investigated.
