QUEENS, N.Y. — Multiple firefighters were hurt responding to a blaze in Queens late Monday night.

Fire officials say flames broke out shortly before 11 p.m. inside a vacant two-story building located on 87-82 172nd Street in Jamaica.

It was under control in about an hour and a half.

Four firefighters were taken to Queens General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
