Dozens of airline workers fighting for better wages and healthcare were arrested during a rally at Kennedy Airport Friday.

Employees of LSG Sky Chefs called on American Airlines on Friday to take steps to ensure workers who cater their flights are able to escape poverty and access medical care.

The catering company they work for is in contract talks with their union.

Port Authority Police say 34 summonses were issued for disorderly conduct.

Mayor de Blasio was there supporting the workers.

"I just want to say to you, keep fighting. We will stand by you and we will all win together. God bless you," said de Blasio.

"I think it's important that we fight for a decent living because what they're doing is wrong. Why should we suffer so much when we are working for a multi-million dollar industry," said one airline worker.

American Airlines released a statement saying it is confident that federal mediators will help the catering companies, but the company is not in a position to dictate what wages or benefits are.
