In the always go-go-go nature of the city, a photography exhibit in Queens is spottlighting peace and tranquility throughout New York.

Solitude, is an exhibit of landscape photographs at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge.  Photographert, Agron Jashari recently moved to New York City from Kosovo, and since then, he has been spending his time capturing moments of solitude in all five boroughs. Many of the nineteen pictures show famous landmarks, like the Statue of Liberty and the Freedom Tower,  but from a different introspective perspective.

“I was quite happy to land in New York City, it has the most amazing landscape as far as all the skyscrapers and water and everything, and boats. Everything is out there and ready to capture,” Jashari said.

Solitude will be on display at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge for the next two months. Admission is free.
