QUEENS, N.Y. - Building inspectors in Queens are trying to figure out what caused a home to partially collapse Wednesday and left it leaning on a neighboring building.

Workers were attempting to raise the two-story home when it became unstable and partially collapsed onto the home next door.

It happened on Hillside Avenue, near Beach 178th Street in Breezy Point.

The fire department says no one was injured.

Meanwhile, the Department of Buildings has issued a stop-work order and forced evacuations from both homes.
