Police said they have a person of interest in custody after two brothers were hurt following an early Sunday morning shooting outside a Queens nightclub.

It happened around 3:45 a.m. outside the Rose Lounge on 130th St. near 90th Ave. in Richmond Hill.

Police said the 28-year-old victim got into a dispute outside the nightclub, and was shot in the head and leg. His 21-year-old brother was also hurt, although officials did not confirm if he was shot.

The victims were rushed to Jamaica Hospital for treatment, with 28-year-old transported in critical condition.

People who live nearby said the neighborhood is generally safe but argued more safety measures are needed around nightclubs in the area.

"They do have the clubs, etc. They don't have a lot of security. Not only that, there are no lights on the block over there, as opposed to over here where people are living."
