Some dancers in Queens are preparing to hit the silver screen.

“Perfectly Normal for Me” will make its New York debut at the ReelAbilities Film Festival this weekend.  It follows young movers and shakers in the Dancing Dreams school for kids with special needs in Bayside.

The hour long documentary was filmed from 2014 to 2015 and won a "Special Recognition" at the Coronado Island Film Festival in California last year.

Alexandria Vega one of the subject's of the fim says  "if you want to dance, even if you have special needs, you can do anything and if people say that you can't do it then you just ignore them."

“Perfectly Normal for Me” will be screened at different locations throughout Queens, Manhattan and Long Island this weekend and early next week.
