History buffs now have another place in Queens to learn all about the City’s past.

The Real Estate Board of New York has donated historical documents and artifacts dating back to 1896 to LaGuardia Community College's archives.

There are papers detailing changes to notable spots like the Empire State Building and Grand Central Terminal. That’s in addition to historical documents the Archive already has from the City's Housing Authority and City Council.

"Researchers will have a one stop shopping approach where they'll find relationships between the two, compare and contrast," said Douglas Di Carlo, Archivist, LaGuardia and Wagner Archives.

The Archive eventually plans to post copies of the documents online.
