Resorts World Casino in South Ozone Park is celebrating its 6th anniversary in Queens this month.

According to the administration, it has become the highest grossing slot casino in the country.

It brings in $860 million in gaming revenue this year.

With its success, the organization said it has contributed $1.9 billion to the state education fund and has partnered with local community groups such as the YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club.

"We've made a commitment, from day one, to be responsible operators. We take that commitment seriously and we're going to continue to do that," said Scott Molina, President of Resorts World New York City

The casino recently broke ground on a $400 million expansion that will include a new hotel, restaurants, shops, more slot machines. It is expected to create thousands of additional jobs in Queens.
