A Queensborough Community College student has won a $7,500 to expand his clothing business for people with disabilities. 

Kelvin Henry won first place in the CUNY and Capital One Community College Innovation Challenge Finals.

As the winner, Henry will receive a $7,500 grant and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet to work on his KMATIKZ clothing line.

Henry came up with the idea for the clothing line after searching for fashion that was easy to out on. 

He became wheelchair bound after he was shot in the back, as an innocent bystander, 12 years ago.  

The total prize payouts for the competition were $25,000.
