Two people are facing charges accused of trying to get weapons past a security checkpoint at LaGuardia Airport.
Port Authority Police say a 40-year-old man and 18-year-old woman were found carrying straight-edged razors hidden in their clothing.
TSA agents say the man was passing through security around 5:30 a.m. Monday when they found the blade hidden in his shoe.
About 15 minutes later, police discovered another blade tucked into the woman's hat in her carry-on bag.
The two were headed to Miami on American Airlines.
Police have not said whether the man and woman knew each other.
Both were charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
