NEW YORK — Yeshiva University's incredible winning streak on the court is getting kudos from the NBA.

The league sent out a tweet reading "Congrats to Yeshiva University men's basketball team for 50 consecutive wins, the longest active winning streak in men's college basketball."

The Maccabees are 14-0 this season after beating New Jersey City University on December 15.

They're back on the court Thursday for a game against Illinois Wesleyan University.

Their last loss came in their 2019 season opener.

The Washington Heights school is ranked number one in the nation.

They were one of the favorites to win the Division III national championship each of the last two years, but both tournaments was canceled by COVID-19 before they could be completed.
