NEW YORK - No injuries were reported after a vacant building partially collapsed in Manhattan late Thursday morning.
According to the FDNY, the collapse happened just before 11 a.m. inside the four-story building located at 211 East 34th Street in Midtown.
Photos from the scene show the residential building's rear four floors exposed.
The building is located next to a vacant lot that is under construction.
The FDNY says surrounding properties were evacuated out of precaution.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
