Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seems to be all over the news all the time, now, she's part of a piece of art too.

Street artist Lexi Bella spray painted amural of the newly-elected member of the House of Representatives at First Street Green Cultural Park in the Lower East Side.

The social-media savvy freshman lawmaker represents parts of the Bronx and Queens. The youngest woman ever elected to the house has been making waves in Washington after unseating longtime Democratic Congressman Joe Crowley in a major November upset.  Bella says though  Ocasio-Cortez is controversial, ove her or hate her, her life story has the potential to empower others.

“She inspires change, she inspires anger in some people but I feel like overall she brings to the city a sense of hope, a sense of things moving forward,” Bella said.

The mural is expected to stay in place until April.
