NEW YORK - Thousands of fake Oxycodone pills believe to contain fentanyl were seized in the Bronx and Manhattan.

Police and Drug Enforcement Administration officials recovered 14,000 pills and two bricks of heroin inside the storage area of a cellphone store in Fordham Manor last week.

Days earlier, investigators found about 6,000 counterfeit pills in a livery cab on the East Side of Manhattan.

Those are believed to have come from Mexico.

Authorities say they have a combined street value of about $600,000.

Four men are charged with criminal posession of a controlled substance.
