NEW YORK - Police are on the hunt for an arsonist believed to have set at least eight fires in Midtown.

Someone is setting fires in Manhattan and investigators need help identifying him.

The FDNY says the man seen in surveillance images set eight separate fires Sunday evening around Midtown.

Four were set in bathroom trash cans at fast food restaurants, including a Midtown McDonald's.

The manager of Famous Famiglia Pizza next door says his restaurant was hit Sunday night.

"Looks like they put something like grease or something, grease fire, I don't know how to explain because it was very hard to shut down the fire. Then the Fire Department, we have an alarm system connected to the Fire Department. They came right away. They broke the wall through McDonalds next door," said the manager.

Four more fires were set in trash cans throughout Penn Station.
